New Research: What can we learn from artistic depictions of hallucinations? (preprint)
An exhibition showed tens of thousands of people hallucination-inducing strobe light. We analyzed what they drew.
New Research: Image Recreations of Visual Hallucinations (preprint)
Read our new preprint, in which participants were trained to recreate images of their visual hallucinations.
New Research: Psychedelic versus Stroboscopic Visual Hallucinations (preprint)

Neuroscientific Advising for Dreamachine
I worked as a neuroscientific consultant for a stroboscopic-light installation attended by ~40 k people and co-developed post-experience reporting tools. The resulting datasets are being analysed with the Sussex Centre for Consciousness Science; interim findings are being presented at ASSC 2025.
Guardian Article for the Perception Census
In December 2022, my photo article was published in The Guardian as part of a sponsored campaign by the Perception Census: “The mysteries of the mind: why we all see the world differently”
Naturalistic Simulations for Film
